01
Foundations
Module 1 · Weeks 1 to 3

Understand AI, then master Copilot.

An honest look at what AI really is, then Microsoft Copilot learned properly, the tool jobs use most right now.

Milestone · Digitally Ready
Week 1AI fundamentals: what AI is, and the right tool for the job
You will learn
What AI really is and how it works, in plain language, then the main tools side by side: Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity, and what each is best at.
In the lesson
Meet your cohort and mentor and get set up. Then no magic and no myths: how AI learns, why it makes mistakes, what never to share, and a live tour of the tools.
Practice at home
Explain to a friend, in your own words, what AI is, and choose which tool you would use for five everyday situations.
By the end you can
Explain what AI is in your own words, judge when to trust it, and pick the right tool for a task.
Week 2Copilot: the top tool in jobs right now
You will learn
Microsoft Copilot mastered properly: how to ask so it delivers, giving context, refining answers, and using it for writing, planning, translating and everyday problem solving.
In the lesson
The most used AI tool in workplaces, learned like no one else learns it. Live practice on real tasks until asking Copilot well feels as natural as asking a colleague.
Practice at home
Use Copilot for one real task you actually need this week, and improve the result twice.
By the end you can
Get genuinely useful results from Copilot by asking clearly, adding context and pushing back.
Week 3Copilot inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
You will learn
Copilot working inside the Microsoft tools every job uses: drafting in Word, answering questions about data in Excel, building slides in PowerPoint, and recapping meetings in Teams.
In the lesson
We work the way modern offices work: draft in Word, ask Copilot about a spreadsheet in Excel, turn notes into slides in PowerPoint, and use Copilot in Outlook and Teams.
Practice at home
Use Copilot to produce one real document, one small spreadsheet and three slides, on anything from your life.
By the end you can
Use Copilot across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, the exact skill in job adverts today.
✦ Milestone · Digitally Ready

In week 3 you show your tutor your own explanation of what AI is, plus a document, a spreadsheet and slides, all made with Copilot by your own hands. For many women, the proudest moment.

02
Wider Toolkit
Module 2 · Weeks 4 to 6

One week, one tool, hands on.

Copilot is not the only AI at work. Three more weeks, three more tools, always on real tasks. By the end, each one is a familiar colleague.

Milestone · Tool Confident
Week 4ChatGPT in depth
You will learn
How to ask well so you get great answers: clear prompts, giving context, asking follow-up questions, and using it in your own language.
In the lesson
Live practice on real tasks: writing messages and letters, planning a week or an event, translating, and solving an everyday problem step by step.
Practice at home
Use ChatGPT to write one real letter or message you actually need this week, and improve it twice.
By the end you can
Get genuinely useful answers from ChatGPT by asking clearly, adding context and pushing back.
Week 5Gemini and Google tools in depth
You will learn
Gemini working inside Gmail, Google Docs and Google Drive, plus Google Lens for translating and understanding the world through your camera.
In the lesson
We connect AI to the Google tools many of you already use: drafting emails in Gmail, improving documents in Docs, and using Lens on letters, forms, labels and signs.
Practice at home
Use Google Lens on one real document or sign, and use Gemini to draft one real email.
By the end you can
Make AI work inside everyday Google tools instead of jumping between apps.
Week 6Claude in depth
You will learn
Longer and more careful work: writing full documents, summarising long texts, working with your own files, and building bigger projects step by step.
In the lesson
You bring a real document, a form, an official letter or a work file, and we work through it with Claude together: summarise it, respond to it, improve it.
Practice at home
Take one long document from your life and produce a one page summary and a response with Claude.
By the end you can
Handle long documents and bigger writing tasks calmly, with AI doing the heavy lifting.
✦ Milestone · Tool Confident

In week 6 you complete the Tool Challenge: one small real task in each of the four tools, Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, collected into your first mini portfolio.

03
Build with AI
Module 3 · Weeks 7 to 8

Your agents, your portfolio.

Now you stop only using AI and start building with it. This is where the skills become yours to show, not just to have.

Milestone · Portfolio Builder
Week 7AI agents: build helpers that work for you
You will learn
What an AI agent is, and how to build one yourself in Copilot and Google: a helper that answers questions, follows your instructions and works for you even when you are busy.
In the lesson
Step by step, you build your first working agents, for example one that answers common questions for a small business, or helps your family plan the week. The same technology big companies pay consultants for.
Practice at home
Improve your agent at home: give it three more instructions and test it with a friend or family member.
By the end you can
Build a simple AI agent and explain what it does in one clear sentence.
Week 8Your portfolio
You will learn
Turning your new skills into evidence: a portfolio project that is real and useful, made by you, that you can show an employer or a client.
In the lesson
A guided build week. Your project can be your AI agent, a document pack for a small business, a plan you produced with AI, whatever fits your goals. Your tutor and mentor help you finish it.
Practice at home
Complete your portfolio project and prepare to present it in one clear minute.
By the end you can
Show an employer or client something real you built with AI, and talk about it with confidence.
✦ Milestone · Portfolio Builder

In week 8 you present your finished portfolio project to your group, and for many women that includes their own working AI agent. From here, you carry proof of your skills.

04
Into Work
Module 4 · Weeks 9 to 11

From skills to income, together.

A focused week that turns skills into opportunity, your graduation showcase, then the part most programmes forget: staying with you as the applications go out.

Milestone · Work Ready
Week 9Job search, CV and interviews
You will learn
Finding the right roles, building a strong CV with AI around your true experience, LinkedIn, and interview preparation with AI as your practice partner.
In the lesson
One power week. We search real job boards, decode real adverts, build your CV live, set up LinkedIn, and practise interviews twice: once with AI, once with your group.
Practice at home
Produce your finished CV, complete your LinkedIn profile, and do one full practice interview with AI at home.
By the end you can
Apply for real roles with a CV you are proud of, and walk into an interview having already rehearsed it.
Week 10Showcase, graduation and next steps
You will learn
Presenting your portfolio, celebrating your cohort, and making your personal plan into work with your mentor.
In the lesson
The graduation showcase: you present your portfolio to the cohort, mentors and invited guests. Certificates are presented. Then we plan your next 90 days together.
Practice at home
Arrive ready to present, and leave with your written 90 day plan into work.
By the end you can
Show your work, own your story, and take your next step with support behind you.
Week 11Job club: your applications, our community
You will learn
A working session on your real job search: reviewing the applications you have sent, solving what got stuck, celebrating interviews won, and joining the Besa alumni community.
In the lesson
We go around the room: who applied where, what happened, what to try next. Live help with a tricky application or a coming interview, then you join the alumni network.
Practice at home
Bring your job search as it really is: applications sent, replies received, and one thing you want help with.
By the end you can
Keep your job search moving with a community behind you, not alone at a kitchen table.
✦ Milestone · Work Ready

You graduate at the week 10 showcase with all four milestones: a finished CV, a LinkedIn profile, a practised interview, a presented portfolio and a 90 day plan. Week 11 and the alumni community are where the certificate turns into work.

The support around you

You are never doing this alone.

If you miss a lesson
Every lesson is recorded. Watch it back, do the practice task, and message your mentor if anything is unclear. Missing a week is normal life, not falling behind.
If English feels hard
Lessons are in plain, friendly English, key materials can be provided in Albanian on request, and if enough of your cohort speaks Albanian the lessons can be run in Albanian too. AI itself also becomes your translation helper from week 1.
If you feel behind
Say it early, to your mentor or in the group chat. Extra practice time and one to one catch-up sessions are part of the programme, not a special favour.
If something in life changes
Talk to us. We have paused and restarted places before. The promise stays: we stay until the skills are truly yours.

What we ask of you

Attend

Come to at least 8 of the 10 core lessons, and catch up on any you miss.

Practise

Try each weekly task, even imperfectly. Practice is where the learning happens.

Support each other

Be kind, celebrate wins, and ask for help. Your cohort is your first network.

Questions? Just ask, any time.
